Kiwimotorhoming "PIPI" Our Bus

Tony & Adele Lloyd's Motorhome Conversion way downunder in New Zealand.
Its a 1980 Bristol Hess RELL 11.5mtr Bus.
It runs a Leyland 510 Turbo Diesel 220hp thru a Semi Auto Box.
The Chassis & Running Gear were originally exported to NZ from Bristol Commercial Vehicles in England.
They were built up in NZ by NZ Motor Bodies.
The Upper Body Structure is nice thick Aluminium Cladding inside & out as well as Ali Box Section Framework.

I have always hated the blind side on the right side of our coach. To eliminate this I installed a camera under the right side mirror and a seven inch monitor on the dash next to the rear view monitor.

Our Barth

Our 1993 Barth after our renovations. We purchased this in June and spent the next six months completely renovating the inside. Refinished cabinets, new flooring, wall treatment, seat coverings, PEX piping (200 plus feet), satelite dish, TV, etc.

These are pictures from three trips we took in January 2010. The first trip on Wednesday, January 27 was to the Cowley Sugar House and Mill in Santa Rosa, Texas. We learned about the growing, harvesting and processing of sugar. The second trip was on Thursday the 28th to the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Texas. We took a behind the scenes tour of the zoo. The final trip was to the Port Isabel Yacht Club Hotel and Restaurant in Port Isabel, Texas. We had dinner and some of us stayed overnight.
