Owners manual for 1990 National RV Dolphin

Recommended Posts

I have recently purchased a 1990 National RV Inc. Dolphin, Model 2750, from a private owner. They did not have an owners manual for this RV and I have been unable to find one anywhere (online or off). If anyone has one, or knows someone who might, and would be willing to make a copy of it to mail to me, I would gladly pay a reasonable price for it.

Thank you,

George C.

George,

Welcome to the FMCA Forum.

Hopefully, someone with that model will be able to help.

But, many of the owners manuals for equipment ARE available:

What chassis do you have? Information on engine, transmission, brakes, etc., is easily available and many of your questions can be answered here on the forum.

Most appliances in your coach have owners manuals available, and many are online. Again, ask questions in the appropriate category.

Only house and wiring diagrams are unique to a coach model. They share most components with other coaches.

Hello Brett, and thank you for your reply. As I mentioned, I am brand new to Rving - can't even remember if I've ever even been inside one in my life before now, so everything is brand new to me. I have purchased (through Amazon on-line) two "generic" RV Maintenance books that I am waiting to be delivered. Hopefully they will help me at least get started understanding what I'm looking at/doing...lol.

From what I understand it is a Chevy Chassis, with a Chevy 454 V8 engine. The engine runs great, and the RV only has 40K miles on it, even though it's 20 years old (1990). The interior needs a lot of cleaning/work, but that is why I purchased it (for 2.8K) - to work on it/fix it up while I bide my time here in FL taking care of my aging Mother....nothing else to keep me busy . I've dreamt of owning an RV for many years, and traveling the country visiting family & friends, and visiting places I've never seen....so when I found this gem I couldn't pass it up.

I am taking possession of the RV tomorrow at which time I'll be able to delve deeper into it to find out more about it, the various appliances and mechanical systems, etc. I'll then start looking for manuals specific to those things.

Thanks again,

George
