Nothing like a thick slice of bologna grilled on a Weber !  Wall Mart has packs of 2 or 6 hard boiled peeled eggs...I carry a couple of dozen in coach and house.  When you make a shrimp stew (Cajun), just drop some in before serving ! :)

Kay, I know witch one your talking about.  I get it at Fiesta Market in Houston.  Next time I'm there to get some, I'll send you the info on distributer, they might have a catalogue for mail order.

Here's a delicious one, Herman...pay attention :D

Cholula Chipotle Hot Sauced chicken wings;(my camping favorite) Soak the split wings in the hot sauce for 1/2 a day or longer, (refrigerated) keep flipping them through out the day so they all stay coated. Charcoal weber grill or Pellet smoker. Weber; small amount of charcoal in the center like a pyramid, place the wings on the out side edge, for 45 minutes 250-350 degrees, flip another 45 minutes, place them in the center after to crisp up and caramelize the hot sauce. Serve.

Pellet smoker, mesquite wood, on smoke for 45 minutes, bring temp up to 250 for another 45 minutes or until caramelized, serve

Joe.  If you put the sauce and wings in gallon size zip lock bag or bags, don't squeeze all air out, but do fondle bag periodically, you will serve 2 purposes!  Wings will be totally covered and you won't forget how to fondle!

Bill.  I'm not sure about the egg rolls, saw the picture, looks and sounds gross. :o:unsure:

I know, that "round" is a shape! :D If you keep going to either of the 2 Mac's, you'll be headed for "Blob" and I'm not sure if that's a shape!:lol:

Herman.  Right on!  But without Brett, the next one...?

Carl

OK, suspect there are a lot of ???????????????

Dianne and I  have two things on our "bucket list". Another long sailing trip and a driving trip through South America. Neither involve going through Indianapolis, and current coach will not do either trip.

We just put our coach (2003 Alpine 38') up for sale.  Longest vehicle for the S. America trip is 30' and already have a sailboat.

The timing? We were primary  care givers for Dianne's dad.  He passed away in December just shy of 90 great years. So, we are "free to move about the planet".

Gave my last seminars yesterday afternoon. Today in Deming, NM. Working our way home.

Bill.  Hope you have some warm clothing with you...GC still have 25 degree mornings and 43 days, I think I saw 52 yesterday. but they still have snow on ground.  We where there the 4th and got a foot more of snow dumped on us!  Have Joe send you the picture of my Jeep, that's in a rest area half way, between Sedona and Flagstaff on  I-17 !

Enjoy, according to the Park employees, very seldom (5 times in the past 50 years) does it snow in March!  3'2" in 4 days has never happened before (Blame Al Gore) in modern time. :o:wub:

Brett,

So sorry to hear of the passing of Dianne's father. 89 plus years is a long time and it was wonderful that Dianne and you were there for him. God rest his soul.

How was the wind going to Demming? We stopped there for 4 days on our way to Chandler. Had very high winds on the 28th.

Have a good time in S/A.

"Fair Winds and Following Seas' wing on all your future voyages.

Herman,

We took the "back way" from Phoenix-- 60/70 to Lordsburg and then I 10 in to Deming.  We had a headwind (from the SE). but only around 10 MPH.  So, hurt MPG some, but no driving issues. That route takes about a half hour longer, is a few miles shorter, but has little traffic on it and great scenery. Still some snow on the higher peaks in the FAR distance. Our temperatures were in the 70's. Nice drive.

Still in Chandler, but the car should be good to go by noon tomorrow. Then west to California. Computer battery failed and a few small items have popped up, it is snowing at the house and the power is still off in parts of the county we live in. The good part is no roof damage from the high winds 4 days ago. Good not to have to start up to snow shovel while working in 20 degs. !

Rich.

Rich, glad to see you on here! If you are in AZ you're better off. We are sitting by waiting for the blizzard to start. 12-18" 60 mph winds :o. this camper is not happy

Indy, is in the history book. It was a great Convention. Had a bit over 1,400 coaches. When you add in all of the registered vendors we had I believe 1,547. The heaviest of Parking was the day it RAINED. Man did it RAIN. But once every body was parked the sun came out and the weather was nice.

We had the first of I hope many more Seminars of "Becoming an active Participant on the FMCA Forum". The crowd was small and all that attended were already on the Forum. Richard "Rich" Marvin (aka **** and Lois), Jason Gobbard FMCA IT Specialist and myself conducted the Seminar. What was nice, was that several of the ole salty ones had some very good question that others gave great answers. Jason took note of some of the concerns that were presented and we look forward to his input.

Side note on Bobbie and I. Bobbie woke up early Saturday morning in severe pain. I got her to the emergency room and the did emergency surgery on her early Sunday morning. We are still here hoping that we may be able to head for home no later than Sunday. I have to take my hat off to the great staff here at Community Hospital North here in Indianapolis. They have been great caregivers.

Another side note. Not having driven in California, I must say that the Driver here in Indianapolis have to be the worst I have ever seen in my 66 years of driving. To these drivers Yellow means to step on it hard. A Green light for you means that you had best make sure the vehicles in both crossing lanes have stopped. Many do not. A stop sign means to only let off the accelerator for a moment then to floor it. They all must have gone to Joie Chitwoods School of Driving.

TBUTLER

Herman,

Our best to Bobbie.  We're hoping for a quick recovery and safe trip to both of you.

Don't go to California if the drivers in Indy scare you.  The drivers in California are very advanced.  They communicate telepathically which negates the need for turn signals.  They will pass you on the right, not that uncommon or unexpected unless it is the exit lane on your right!

We had a great time in Indy.  The forum workshop was fun and informative.  So nice to put faces with some of our fellow correspondents.
