Flat Towing 2008 Chevy Impala

Remco unit

I have a 2008 Chevy Impala and had a Remco Unit built on the right drive axle. Is anyone familiar with these units and how they work.
Do you leave the car in park when towing..any feed back would be appreciated. Thank you ahead of time!

I believe the you leave the trans in park, the ring gear is not turning. The spider gears may prematurely wear because as the left axle makes 1 revolution the right axle coming out of the differential is turning the opposite direction.
