We are looking at a Caravan Tour for Fall Colors in the Northeast and Southeast Canada. 33 days.

Kinda of spendy. $6200 for 2.

Have any of you done tours like that?

Advice?

We went to Alaska and Canada this past summer with a caravan. You will find many advantages and disadvantages to caravan travel. We liked the security in traveling with a group, having campgrounds, tours and shows arranged in advance for us and the many friends we made within the group. And I am sure the caravan company gets some group discounts.

But you are also locked into the tours, shows and travel schedule as presented. You could skip tours and shows but you still have paid for them upfront.

If we were going to try the Fall Colors tour, I probably would find an itinerary we liked and make individual arrangements for the tours and shows we think we would want to see.
