Update from Texas Assn of Campground Owners re: Evacuees   08/28/17

Good morning, There are now at least 18 privately owned and operated campgrounds and RV parks across Texas that are accepting evacuees. The attached news release, updated from the one the association issued yesterday, includes the names and contact info for the parks. Consumers can also do their own research to identify parks with RV spaces and rental cabins at www.TexasCampgrounds.com and www.TexasCabinRentals.net. Please contact Brian Schaeffer, executive director and CEO of the Texas Association of Campground Owners, on his cell phone at (817) 307-0129 for any questions. We will continue to update this release over the weekend based on the feedback we receive from campgrounds and RV parks across Texas. Many thanks for including our information in your reports yesterday. We appreciate it. Sincerely, Jeff Crider

From Long Island,NY And Looking For A Chapter

Recommended Posts

We have a 2012 ACE motorhome by Thor and have been looking for a chapter that is close to us, but goes off of Long Island and travels to other states. We would love to hook up with someone.

Hi Papabill, Welcome to FMCA.

In your part of the country, you might want to look at the Northeast Area for chapters that might be interesting to you.

One can contact the chapters by looking up there listing in the Chapters by area section on the home page under chapters.

I included one link as an example, but there are chapters that where formed to cover many different interests and geographic areas.

This link is to the Northeast Area chapters and it covers your part of the country.

Hope this helps Rich.

Some of the 41 Northeast Area chapters have a description to help you see what the chapter is all about. Just click on the Chapters tab at the top of the home page. If you follow down to "chapters by area" you can see all of the chapters in the area. You can always call the office and we can also help you find a chapter that might be right for you. Please don't hesitate to call us at 800-543-3622.
