I am looking for any suggestions on how to de-winterize the motorhome.

Also has anyone had experience with dichlor shock (a pool shocking chemical)  to sanitize the system and maintain a clean system?

I use hydrogen peroxide.  Empty your water tank and then fill the water hose with 1 pint of hydrogen peroxide and then hook to spigot. Fill water tank with about 10 to 15 gallons and then turn on all faucets for 30 seconds, both hot and cold using the water pump.

Let it set with the treated water in the system for an hour and then fill your tank and your good to go.

As desert deals69 said,  You can also use regular household chlorine bleach. Run the treated water through your system and when you smell chlorine at the faucet turn it off .
