Last year I had my Country Coach aligned by a Locally recommended specialist.

Recently I completed a 3,200 mile trip from Dallas to Florida. I wasn't totally happy with the coach's handling.

Over the last two years much has been done to improve the road handling/wandering.

I have added SteerSafe, new, custom made, anti sway bushings, new Michelin tires inflated to proper weight tables, set ride height and had an alignment.

Today, I compared the Country Coach alignment specifications to my actual alignment. My actual alignment appears to be considerably different from the CC specs. Sadly, I don't know enough about actual alignment vs specs to analyze my setup.

I looking for analysis/recommendations from forum members with greater alignment experience than I have.

Please see file below.

Your help will be appreciated.

Hi Ron, Not real sharp on what chassis are under the Coaches. so could you post the chassis maker ?

Nice list of numbers on the suspension system. Could you clarify what numbers are per and post settings, like maybe coloring the per numbers green and the post numbers Red.

Makes it a little easier to come pair things.

Do you plan on going to Perry for the FMCA Rally starting the 17th to the 20th. of March?

Rich.

Ron,

There is a really good alignment shop just north of you in Savoy, North Texas Alignment. From Plano, go north on 75 to Sherman. Exit at Hwy 82 and trun right, east. NTA will be on the right about 3 miles east after you pass the exit for Bells (Hwy 69). They have a 40 foot trailer with their name on it. If you can't find their number give me a PM.

Sorry, the document did not paste correctly. I had the alignment spec's in a word document.

I'll try this again.

When I try to attach the alignment spec document, I get this message "you aren't permitted to upload this kind of file.

Can someone tell me what kind of documents I can download?

Thank you,

RJ

RJ !  I had the same thing happen when trying to copy over a word file.

You can try the More Reply Options button, but to save some frustration. You might be able to just color the information on you post. With red for the before and green for the after settings. Only suggest those colors because they do stand out well.

That way the members know what the settings where before and after.

The forum works well, but there are some limitations !

Rich.

Rich & Herman,

Thanks for your responses.

I finally was able to attach my alignment specification document by saving it as a PDF file.

Please open it and give me your thoughts on my alignment vs the specifications.

Sorry to say, I will not be going to Perry for the FMCA rally.

It is my understanding that my chassis is a Dynomax chassis that was made in house by Country Coach.

Herman thanks for the heads up on North Texas Alignment, I plan to call them for an appointment.

Thanks,

RJ

RJ,

Got a copy of your File ! This is not my strongest area, but will look things over and see if anything stands out.

The reason I asked if you where going to Perry was, Mr. Lorntson from Precision Frame & Alignment Elk River, MN is going to be there and is one of the better shops in the country.

Think he maybe presenting at one of the Seminars.

See, Herman offered information on a location closer to home.

Herman,

When I do a search for North Texas Alignment I only get a hit for North Texas Alignment in Boyd TX. I'm not getting anything in Savoy. Can you give me their phone number?

Thanks,

RJ
