    Greetings RVers. Wondering if it is a good idea to attach things to the roof access ladders on RVs and then driving to your destination? I have seen many different items on ladders going down the road and wonder if the ladders are engineered for that. I am thinking about doing that with a fiberglass step ladder on our Class A Motorhome.

    Putting our Newmar Canyon Star motorhome in unheated winter storage for the next 5 or 6 months. What should be done with the 6 volt house batteries, 6 of them? Plug in the motorhome so they stay charged or take them out? Will not have access to the unit during storage.
