  1. All, My wife and I just checked out the Spring Ridge Estates properties in person about 6 miles south of Newport, WA and about 40 miles north of Spokane. We did not take advantage of the free stay as we did not have our coach with us but stayed at The Inn at the Lake (great bed and breakfast right on Diamond Lake)(innatthelake.com). The properties were very wooded and some offer more privacy than others depending how far back you wish to have your set up. The more expensive properties have better views. They are a mixture of properties with homes, homes with RV pads and properties with a minimal RV pad setup with or without a "pole barn" cover over your RV at an extra cost. We decided not to buy. If you are thinking of purchasing a property there be sure to thoroughly check out the smelter plant that may be being built a few miles north heading toward Newport. Information can be found by googling "newport wa smelter". It may or may not be built as it is very controversial and there are lawsuits pending. The gentleman we dealt with (Gary Chantry) did not think the plant would be built in his opinion. We decided not to risk that it might be built after spending a minimum of approximately $100,000 for a lot. Thank you, Bill Norrish FMCA#479035
