Hi Guys, I'm just getting started in this lifestyle, but outside of purchasing my class a coach, I am purchasing my own set of scales for weighing not only axle weights but, the weight of each side of the axle. I can also, utilizing these same scales, obtain the weight each tire on my dual axle carries. I am a firm believer in knowing how much PSI each tire needs given the weight that it carries individually. Is this purchase expensive, no, not given the investment I made in buying my coach. My used motorcoach cost me almost 100 times the price of the scales. If I can prevent excessive wear on the tires, suspension, etc, you can bet the farm I will. I plan on making my scales available to others in my travels. It's not a big deal, it's a matter of being safe on the road. I think that we're all aware of the danger posed by under or over inflated tires. If you find me in my travels, please feel free to ask for assistance. Will I charge a fee for this, yes. It will be nominal, but I will be able to provide you with a receipt showing the weight of each tire as well as the weight of each axle. It will be up to you to shift your weight around to properly balance your rig, as well as to ensure that your tires are properly inflated. See ya down the road!
