The manual says trailer tow but it's referencing an automatic transmission. Has anyone actually towed one of these or know of anyone that has?

Has anyone flat-towed a Chrysler Crossfire? I have a 2005 Crossfire with a 6-speed manual transmission. I have read conflicting information on this. Thanks.

Remco says not but I have heard from someone on a Crossfire forum that is towing it with no problems
."Manual transmission Crossfire tows like a dream. Most important note: Make sure the transmission is in neutral and the key has been turned to ON, and then turn it to OFF. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T REMOVE THE KEY. This will keep the steering unlocked without draining the battery. Good luck!"
