Can anyone explain the water on the carpet after the slide comes in, and even when the slide is in water is coming from bottom of the slide?

We have CLass A motorhome with 41 inch tires, normal tire covers will not fit due to very little wheel clearance with body. Looking for magnetic type tire cover?? Cant seem to find them but have seen them on some coaches.
