  1. I had an '87 Allegro on a Chevy P 32 chassis for 14 yrs. The spark plug wires have to be dressed a certain way. Very important! There are also heat shields on each individual plug. On my '87 Allegro there was a ceramic fuel filter at the Rochester carb where the fuel line enters. There was also another one halfway between the fuel tank and the engine. Mine was located behind the rail just behind the entrance steps. Hope this helps.

  3. We are on our way to a reunion of the U.S.S. Orion (AS 18) in Ft. Mitchell Ky. Although the Ship no longer exists, (I may have shaved with it this morning), it was in commission from 1943 to 1993. We have a very active veterans group. Our reunions are held every year in a different location. This year's reunion starts on September 11. I have mixed emotions about that date for obvious reasons. I worked in lower Manhattan for over 25 yrs. I was a sidewalk superintendent during the construction. We have visited "Ground Zero" many times. Although this is the 10th anniversary we felt attending this reunion would be the right thing to do. Don't know how many more we'll be able to attend. We celebrate America at these reunions. We have a great web site that covers the entire 50 yr history of the ship. Check it out. The Orion Veterans Historical Organization welcomes you. http://home.comcast.net/~orionvets/

  5. By golly, I think I've got it! My only question is, once I've registered my card online, do I still have to register for "pump start" at a show or with a cashier at a PFJ location or does the online registration accomplish this? The web site is vague.
  6. This may or may not get posted. If it does not it will be another assault on our 1st Amendment rights. If it does, kudos to FMCA. Today, in protest of the dues increase, I have inverted the "goose eggs" on my coach. Ron F57004
  7. I play my cards close to the vest. 'Nuff said!
  8. I agree with most if not all of the comments. I'm not the oldest guy on the block, but having been on the road for 25+ yrs, I see two major problems. 1. The rigs have outgrown the campsites both in physical size and utility requirements. This is not an easy one to rectify and 2. Many of the parks are wired with aluminum, not copper. And I'm talking private as well as membership. As someone else said elsewhere on this topic good quality monitoring devices is the first line of defense.
