I would think you have a valve right below the fresh tank that drains it...... on a Tiffin, it's in the wet bay right behind the whole sewer discharge drop with the dump valves on it...... I don't understand how you could have winterized it and still have water in your fresh water tank .............being from Northern WI, you need to get that water out of there - out of all lines. all low spots, and remove water filter, filter canister, etc. Before winterizing by heading south in October every year, I winterized thoroughly by starting with pumping 12-15 gallons of RV anti-freeze through the water hose into the fresh tank, remove all filters, flush the fluid through all faucets, toilets, ice maker, washer, dishwasher, inside AND outside shower - everything..... left 5-8 gallons in fresh tank to use in toilet if needed if we drove south later in winter... or leave until spring...... it will all flush our fine when things warm up.

There is a group of Grand design owners that I understand are forming further - believe website is FMCAgdc.com. Maybe others will jump in

I got mine early last year from a FMCA Commercial member who makes / sells them.... He & wife have business and are vendors at rallies... spends most winters in FL just south of Lady Lake .... sorry I don't remember name but believe choices are available ... maybe others can chime in as I've seen others have same thing .... I had sent him a photo of my plate... he has the blanks as he's made several for others as well...

Same issue on my 22 so I 1) got a couple suction cups and hang it on windshield when parked, 2) had a vinyl adhesive one made and put it on the rear cap.

We have used Walmart for past 11 years - have never had an issue with their network and ability to transfer prescriptions anywhere in the US - haven't spent time in major cities on west coast nor upper east coast.... works fine everywhere else.

Several groups / chapters make arrangements to arrive and park together at / during the rallies..... usually, they ask that a representative from the group / Chapter make arrangements with FMCA with # attending, sizes of units ... all participating naturally have to be registered for same type /area of services (ie; 50A Full, 30A electric only, etc) (If you have registered for handicapped, naturally you wouldn't be parked with others on 30A electric only, etc.) Upon arrival, group likely would be "staged" and when fully gathered, would then be parked.. Likely, members would be asked to display the group they are with, and perhaps a # of that group . (ie; #3 of 15, or #6 of 9, etc.when being parked.) Suspect Roger will or one of the parking Captains will respond if further info should be given.

Looking for a fellow Geocacher that is - or will be at campground for a day or two soon - and may have time for an interesting little project for me. Will likely only take 15 minutes with an on site task but bit of geocaching experience would be helpful. If interested, please PM me or send me an email to BlueSnowOwl@gmail.com

We used the FMCA tire program several times - twice on autos and twice on motor homes ...got the price from FMCA, had dealer (Southside Tires) order, receive, mount & balance for exchange of old tires. Cost of tires were extremely advantageous, Motor home tires were in 4 month age area..... Understand pricing program is through FMCA but would think age of tire would be Dealers area of responsibility ? IMHO, 2 year old tires would not be acceptable.

2023 jeep grand Cherokee overland flat towing
whiteeagle replied to kwelp's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I have towed 5 Jeeps including 4 GC, one Gladiator, 2 were/are Overlands - including current 2020 Overland have been great tow vehicles with no issues for approx 100,000+ miles towing. Just be absolutely positive of following the set procedure for towing.... simple but positively required. -
Coach pulls to right when towing car
whiteeagle replied to kilowatt@catt.com's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
There is also a good chance that you are missing a step in setting the towed vehicle for towing.. if the towed steering wheel locks in at a slight turn angle, they will wear rapidly and pull the RV rear to that side slightly.... When you hooked up, were the towed vehicle's wheels/tires slightly one way or the other? Some jeeps and other towed's after being hooked up would follow the RV on the first turn but then lock in at that angle if not set correctly for towing.. -
Hey....Shut off the darn breaker at power pedistal
whiteeagle replied to tireman9's topic in Electrical
Thanks for posting ... not good to plug in nor pull cord out when still hot.... surprised but see this frequently around the country.. -
I do have the charging line from the motor home to the towd but do not use the towd battery for the brake system... have always used a 700A portable battery charge unit to connect the brake system to so I don't affect the towd battery.. Question however... I thought "cut-off" switches were used on the negative side of the battery ?

Good Resort / campground near Utah Parks
whiteeagle replied to whiteeagle's question in Destinations/Attractions
Appreciate the feedback ... I've reserved a couple weeks at Bauers Canyon Ranch due to it's proximity to a number of the interesting Parks in the area.... It looks like the most logical route from Flagstaff area is just to take 89 North.... any issues on that route for 45ft towing? -
Glad to hear you are interested in joining a chapter and enjoying the fellowship, fun, and social activities involved . There are (at last count) 20+ chapters in the Rocky Mountain Area and I believe 7 with primarily Colorado members.... Probably the best thing for you to do to insure you get all the options and current contact info for all of them is to call Penny Gortmiller in FMCA Hdqtrs at 513-474-3622- ext 238 Penny is in charge of Chapter Services and a great resource.

Good Resort / campground near Utah Parks
whiteeagle replied to whiteeagle's question in Destinations/Attractions
Thanks .. like the Bauers Canyon option.... noticed that they close for the season on Nov 1 so weather must be a bit iffy there at 5900 ft elevation.... I don't have a problem driving in a bit of snow but I don't want ice. Checking further.... -
Good Resort / campground near Utah Parks
whiteeagle replied to whiteeagle's question in Destinations/Attractions
Thanks for the suggestions of those two... Not familiar with any of that area.... we have only about Oct 15 - 28th or so to spend there this year and was thinking weather wise, would likely need to stay in southern areas and plan to get out by end of Oct ? Haven't had much success in past so don't look at sites in National parks due to size of rig.... -
I'm hoping to visit a couple of the Utah scenic parks in mid-October after the Albequeque balloon fest.....before spending winter months in AZ....... Wondering if there is one or a couple good RV resorts or campgrounds in Southern Utah that a person recommends to stay at - so that we could use Jeep on day trips to visit a couple of the parks in reasonable proximity - and leave for AZ before end of October ....

I suspect there are several of the Executive Board including the AVP's, and other Governing Board Members on this forum. When I can be helpful, i have contributed. When it's more appropriate that others reply, I don't, they do. Herman did a great job, Don is continuing to do same. I mostly lurk but do so to learn what folks are thinking and inquiring about as considerations for FMCA going forward. Just haven't felt it was necessary to post on general conversation topics as we full-time travel and busy on several other fronts as well. Stay healthy and safe.

Wondering if anyone has experience / recommendations for campground / resort to visit for week after the FMCA in Perry GA. Will be leaving after FMCA Perry Rally - have 1 week before AIM rally in "The Ridge Resort" in Sevierville TN .... Looks like only logical route is again either through or around Atlanta which is a pain but done several times. Have been to Stone Mountain RV campground previously.... could do it again but maybe another known recommended gem somewhere along the way?

Sure you posted in correct place ... Herman Mullins (Area VP for the South Central region) will be checking this shortly...He'll certainly be able to help you....

I had also sent a PM .. followed up on our email exchanges with requested specifics on all primarily based Illinois Chapters and copy of all Midwest Chapters for her information...

Best campgrounds around Tucson
whiteeagle replied to Linbarb82's question in Destinations/Attractions
+1 on KOA Tucson -
I put in the charge line and could run off the towed continuously but instead have used a portable battery unit that I siet on the passenger side foot area and run the Patriot brake unit off that .. charge up at nights ... have used it several times to help start other's towed vehicles with dead battery.
