  1. I know this is usually about positive experiences and I rarely complain, but this was too aggravating not to pass on. We stayed at Walnut RV in Northridge CA, in the San Fernando Valley, A park we had stayed at before, and one of the few in this area. This trip and the treatment we received was outrageous!! We arrived at the Park on the day of our reservation to find the office empty. One of the people in the hospitality room told my wife which space to go to, which she did and returned with a very nice lady, the same one that checked us in the year before, who was the assistant manager. We checked in, went to the space we were assigned, and set up our rig. I have a brother who lives in the area, so we called them and met them for dinner. Upon our return to the Park we found a note on our door telling us to report to the "Managers" space. As my brother and his wife had returned with us, my wife volunteered to go see what the Manager wanted. She returned 10 minutes later, red faced and very upset. She said when she and my sister-in-law went to the Managers and introduced herself, the reply from the Manager was "Just who do you think you are? Do you think you can come in here and park where ever you want to?"!! My wife was dumbfounded! This woman didn't even introduce herself! My wife told her that we had checked in and we were registered and didn't understand what the problem was. She told my wife that we were the problem and we checked in a day early. My reservations were made 2 months in advance and 2 weeks prior to our arrival we were called and asked if we wanted a different spot, which we declined. During that conversation they reconfirmed our reservation, which was the day we checked in. She then told my wife, "See that sign over there? It says I can refuse service to anyone, so I'm refusing service to you, don't ever come here again!"!! If I hadn't been in town for business I would have packed up right there and left, but I had an appointment the next morning and there were no other parks within 30 miles. (The manager had later told us that we could stay) Out entire stay was plagued with problems. When I returned back at my rig from my morning appointment, my sewer line was disconnected and my water was turned off. There was another note on my door. I went to see the manager and her husband met me. He said he changed the sewer connection and my hose was leaking. I told him the hose was only three weeks old. He said the "squirrels" did it!! I reconnected my sewer, taped up the hose, and the next day bought a new hose. The following day, after connecting my new hose, while I was away on an appointment, that hose also was punctured. I examined both hoses and found no teeth marks, just a puncture!! Even though the posted "Quiet" time was 10 PM to 8 AM, at 6:30 the following morning, the husband was right outside our bedroom windows trimming the hedges with a gas chain saw. I attempted to get the name of the park owner but she refused to give it to me, and we discovered, refused to give it to any of the fulltimers there, some of which, also wanted to file a complaint. Obviously, we won't be returning to that park, and I would suggest, if you are going to be in that area, to find another place to stay until they get rid of this crazy person!!!
