  1. Sooo the best solution would be a front window awning. Never seen one on a coach.
  2. If you can deal with the first cost of TranSynd its the way to go. It will lower your transmission fluid temperature and double the miles between changes. Looking at if as a life cycle cost, its actually cheaper than Dexron.
  3. A little more explanation is in order for you to understand why the brake pedal went to the floor. The moisture in the fluid actually boils and created a vapor pocket in the hot brake cylinder. Once the brake cylinder cools down the vapor condenses and the brakes return to normal. Changing fluid is a good precaution and should/must be done periodically to eliminate moisture. Another point is the DOT rating of the brake fluid. The high the DOT rating the higher the boiling point. DOT 2 (cheap) brake fluid boils at hundreds of degrees less than DOT 5 brake fluid (expensive). The next time you’re at the auto parts store take a look at the brake fluid. The boiling point will be labeled on each can.
  4. I have a 2005 Dodge ram pickup in California and the tags were $625 this year. My coach is registerd in Texas and they have no problem with an Escapees address allowing me to register the coach for a little over $200
  5. Tony, Sorry to have you looking up so many different tires. I need (8) 315 80 22.5. Perhaps you should consider posting a list of the available sizes with prices. I hope your company is making something on this program. Thanks.
  6. I think allowing the starter RVs into the club makes sense. Most of us at some point started with a tent and slowly moved up in the type of rig we own. Im not sure the word has gotten out regarding towable being allowed at Perry. I have been here since Friday afternoon and have not seen a single towable. That may be because they are being sent to a towable parking location, Im not sure just havent seen any of them.
  7. Well I have to admit the weather is great, its almost warm enough to run the AC. The on grass parking is firm without any sinking. Even the levaling jacks are not sinking into the ground much. Cant belive how many rigs are here in all shapes and sizes. There must be several thousand and they are still arriving. The FMCA parking volenteers did a great job of quickly dispatching us to our area with a minimum of delay. Plenty or room to put out slides and awnings. The displys open tomorrow and its looking like a rally not to be missed.
  8. Bill Thanks for an informative answer to my questions. As a newbee, The thought of getting stuck made me uncomfortable. I will attend and thanks for the advice.
  9. I simply want to know the following: Who is making the judgment that the ground is dry enough to prevent sinking into the grass? Is a plan in place to help stuck rigs back to the pavement ? If it starts raining hard mid way through the rally, can I leave?
  10. See weather at Warner Robbins AFB close to PERRY. http://www.weatherli...r/wb4slmem82dp/ If parking is on the grass, larger RVs may/will get stuck in the mud.
  11. I'm worried about the weather. Its currently raining hard. If parking is on the grass, larger RV WILL get stuck. What provisions have been made? If the rain gets bad can we leave early? See linl for weather at Warner Robbins AFB a few miles from Perry. The summery at the top of the page will show current rain fall rate and amount in the last hour: http://www.weatherlink.com/user/wb4slmem82dp/
