    Dunlop Tires

I have used the Michilen Tire program for my autos for a several years (even though the FMCA representative insisted the program is ONLY FOR Motor Homes) and have been very satisfied with the results. I have Michelins on my Class C motor home and was involved with the recall. During inspection it was discovered that I had some sidewall cracks, nothing major, which I reported and was given 7 new replacements for less than the cost of 2 tires. The original tires had 20,000+ miles on them and showed basically no wear. The replacement tires with 10,000+ miles on them also show no wear. I wouldn't use anything but Michilen.
  2. We purchased a used MH 4 1/2 years ago and as part of the purchase deal bought a service contract issued by United States Warranty in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. We used the warranty 3 or 4 times through the purchasing dealer and had absolutely no problems with it. We renewed the policy when it expired and after a few months traded in the MH for a much newer one that still had some warranty left from the chassis manufacturer. Due to this we were able to secure a 7 year service contract from United States Warranty AND THEY PRORATED THE BALANCE OF THE EXISTING CONTRACT AND APPLIED IT TOWARD THE PURCHASE OF THE "NEW ONE". I am very satisfied with the company and the dealer I secured it through. The MH we purchased this past January was not secured from the original dealer, but he handled the purchase of the new service contract for us. If you want to check out pricing through him, he is Rick @Ruff RV Center in Euclid, Ohio 216-812-3820.
  3. I'm not familiar with your MH, but if the pull down shade is like a normal window shade and is easily removed like a residential window shade you might try this: Pull the shade down partway, remove it and manually roll it back up. After rolling it up, return it to the sockets and try pulling it down and see if it retracts by itself. If the tension is still not enough, try repeating the procedure again. If the tension is too strong, do the opposite. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
