  1. Yeah I use my own Visa card too a Pilot Flying J to get my 5% back. This is in addition to the GoodSam 5 cents off per gallon. I also can use the app to get my receipt.
  2. Joe, Thanks for pointing this out. I have had the app for over a year now and didn't even realize the receipt feature was there.
  3. According to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation: Do mopeds need insurance in Ontario? You must have the proper type of license plate attached to the rear of your motorcycle or moped, as well as valid vehicle registration. You must also have liability insurance. Carry your driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance card with you in case a police officer asks to see them. Sep 17, 2018 Motor-assisted bicycles (mopeds) A moped has the following characteristics: Weight of 55 kilograms or less, Attached motor driven by electricity or having a piston displacement of no more than 50 cubic centimeters, Pedals that are operable at all times and may be used to propel the moped, No hand- or foot-operated clutch or gearbox driven by the motor and transferring power to the driven wheel, Maximum speed of 50 km/h on level ground within 2 kilometers from a standing start Under the Highway Traffic Act, mopeds are not considered motorcycles; however, mopeds require you to have the same types of riding skills as required for motorcycles, and you must hold a valid motorcycle class license (an M1, M2(L), M2, M(L) or M) in order to drive on Ontario’s public roads. I would imagine that whatever valid motorcycle license you need in your state would be acceptable.
  4. Thanks for sharing this, I think I will keep mine closed from now on!
  5. So I after reading everyone's answers and thoughts on the "Norcold fix", I am left perplexed and wondering about the need for the ARP module. I mean if Norcold went to the trouble of recalling the fridges to install a cut off to reduce the risk of fire and mitigate their legal risk, if the fix didn't work, wouldn't they still be at significant Legal financial risk? I mean that wouldn't make sense for Norcold? What am I missing?
  6. Huffypuff, if I have the ARP module installed can I still run it on 120 AC and LP gas as needed?
  7. Rvannoy1, It's my understanding that there have been several Norcold recalls on the model 1200 4 door fridge to eliminate or substantially reduce the risk of fire. https://norcold.com/recall-information/ Have you had these recalls done?
  8. I believe the .308 got a pass as it is a hunting rifle, which if declared properly can be brought into Canada. Herman, I don't believe a hand gun of any type can be brought in legally, declared or not. I am pretty sure it would be confiscated.
  9. Yes there are no Pilot Flying J's east of Montreal, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward island or Newfoundland. Once you head west from Montreal there are many across Ontario all the way to BC. No Loves in Canada as far as I know.
  10. We use Pilot Flying J almost exclusively. I can't say that I have ever seen them priced .30 cents higher than others in fact generally they are very competitive. Sometimes they are cheaper than others in the area.
  11. Rich, I believe that the onan 5500 in question only puts out a max of 45.8 amps at 120 volts. So even less capacity. a-1425.pdf
  12. We're still in Prince Edward Island until the weekend. Met with Carl Manholt (Christensen) yesterday for a cold one. His comments above are spot on.
  13. Kdrogers62, if your system is like ours, make sure you didn't accidentally switch the camera selection button, labeled "CA SEL", to the wrong position. I know in ours that if you do you get a "no signal" message across the screen,

    New Tire Balancing

I've had beads in my 4 rear drive tires since May of 2016. They seem to work ok and so far no issues. I am also running Michelins. Fronts installed 2014. All seem to be holding up well..
  15. Well the weather has improved over the last week so you should definately enjoy the island! Make sure you take in some of the local seafood, some great eating spots like Sou-West in New London and New Glasgow Lobster Suppers. A real island tradition! Also some great shopping in many gift shops, antiques and art shops.
  16. Happy 4th of July to all of my American friends!
  17. Carl, we were just thru New Brunswick mostly on Hwy 2, the Trans Canada. It's a 4 lane like an interstate and was in good shape. We are now in PEI for a few weeks. The weather forecast is improving, supposed to get into the 80's on Friday.
  18. Or just reserve a pull thru on your phone using the app, or on your PC on KOA.com, enter your MH length and click "Motorhome Towing", and it will put you in an appropriate site.
  19. Try Roadmaster.com. They carry all sorts of chrome axle covers and hub caps. https://www.thinkroadmaster.com/itemtype/wheel-accessories/?pgd=30
  20. Mine is on the ceiling in the bedroom where Winnebago installed it...
  21. This is the 2nd MH we have had over the last 20 odd years with this OTA antenna. Have never had a leak. Not sure what type of sealing system they use, but it seems to work.
  22. We use an OTA antenna all the time and typically get anywhere from 12 to 70 stations depending where we are. As an added bonus many are HD 1080 p. We have a Winguard Sensar antenna with the digital extension.
  23. No Question, Toad = Convenience! And the vast majority RVing with a Toad agree. For us, we don't leave home without it!
  24. Hi everyone, We are headed to Branson MO next spring and are looking to stay at a nice RV Park, close to theaters and restaurants. Full Hook ups and Pull Thrupreferred. Looking for recommendations,,, Thanks
