  1. There are several places in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach area that I would recommend. Bella Terra of Gulf Shores is very nice, Class A only resort. They have an excellent staff and have on site events. Heritage Motorcoach Resort is nice as well, class A only. I stay at Bella Terra as it is close to shopping, restaurants etc. Things to do, a visit to Ft. Morgan, Visit USS Alabama near Mobile, Foley's train museum. For a night out, Nolan's Restaurant in Gulf Shores has good food and live music 5 nights a week. Shipps Harbor Grill is also a great restaurant in the area. If you are into golf, the course at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores has some good deals on golf. Probably the most reasonable grees fees in the area. Hope this helps out once you get to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area.

  2. Yes, quite successful. It's great for topping off the tires. It has a built in gauge, the hose screws on the tire valve. I have the plug go bad on my first one. I had used it for several years. I contacted them to get a replacement plug and they sent me a new one along with free return shipping for the old one.

I have a somewhat large but portable compressor with a tank and this one beats it hands down.

  3. Ford has a TSB on this transmission. Not sure if you had the dealer adjust the transmission fluid level as recommended. A lot of dealers aren't aware (or won't admit) of it. Here is a link. http://www.maliasmiles.com/RVTravel/Ford%20TSB-11-07-15.pdf

I would get another opinion as well. I have a Mercury Milan with the same transmission and no problems. I take a copy of the TSB every time I go in for service.

  4. I have a 2010 Mercury Milan 6 cyl auto trans (sister to the Fusion) and have towed with no problems. Trans fluid need to be set to the lowest safe level (per owners manual). Ford also has a TSB on this which I print and take to the dealer when I have service work completed. Most of the service departments aren't aware of it. There have been problems if the proper level is not maintained.
