  1. Thanks for this information. I am considering the same exact tire replacement in Oregon (no sales tax of course) for my 07 Monaco Diplomat and your pricing information under the Michelin tire program is very helpful. Bill
  2. Hi JT, We are presently camped at Ice House Reservoir in our 41' Monaco Diplomat. We drove up here on June 18th, so I have some recent knowledge of the road to our location. Union Valley Reservoir is about another 6 miles down the road and as far as I can tell and it is slightly lower (300') in elevation. I think the road from Hwy 50 to Ice House is the hardest part of the trip. It is about 9 miles to our location with about a 2000' elevation gain. The road is in good condition, but it is pretty curvy and the climb is steady, slow (15 mph-30mph) and steep (average 7 % grade). Bill
  3. Great find! While it takes more "clicks" than other forums I visit, this procedure has worked flawlessly for me. Thanks Bill
  4. +3 Using Firefox (7.0) and Win 7. I too, log into many other forums and this one is the only one that I have to constantly re-enter my login information. If there were conflicts with "cleaning" or "anti-virus" software, then is seems likely that I would find this behavior similar in other forums, but I don't.
  5. We have a 2007 Honda CR-V that we tow behind our MH. We bought it new and it has been a great vehicle for our fulltiming travels. It gets good gas mileage... about 24-25 in town, 29-32 on the freeway and about 27 in mixed driving. It is not a cushy ride since it is designed as an SUV, but it has great storage room and with the all wheel drive it goes pretty much anywhere. It has some blind spots when trying too see behind you, but we just take a little more care when backing up or changing lanes. Given our experience, we would buy one again if we had to do it over. Bill
