  1. On the rare occasion that we park in a Walmart or any other merchant's lot, we always go in and ask if it's ok and also make purchases there. We've never been refused but have been told of local ordinances which would cause us to be ticketed by the local police if we stayed overnight. As former long haul truck drivers we know it isn't always wise to park just anywhere - even in store parking lots. There are places all over the country where you just aren't safe! If we have any misgivings at all we simply go to a place we feel more comfortable. One never opens a door if you don't know who's there - I don't care if you're in a house, apartment, hotel room etc! Thanks Walmart and others who so generously allow us to spend the night!
  2. We have had a small travel trailer, then a mid-sized fiver and now a motor home. The common denominator is that we've been RV'ers the whole time and full-timed in all three at various times. We vote yes to opening FMCA to all RV owners.
