I have a 2005 VW Beetle with standard transmission. Just trying to find out what needs to be done with the electrical system when towing, to save battery discharge? Fuse removal?

I have an 05 newer style Beetle standard transmission, and I also have the same request, can I or do I need a dolly?? Rather do 4 wheels down. Lewis
