  1. We have a 2010 Tiffin , We put Continental H rated tires on . Just as good a ride as the Michelins + saved me about $ 400.00 on a set of 6 tires .

Check in the compartment for the house batteries . see that the Terminal for the Battery temperature Sensor is tight , if it is ,next step , disconnect the sensor + leave it off . then check the charging Voltage at the House Batteries . if thats OK , Replace sensor . if not , tap with a hammer handle on the Dual Charge Selonoid , its verry Possible its stuck . Not all Direct TV remotes will work with Your Receiver , i have run into this situation myself , had to contactDirect TV (now AT&T) & they send me a new Remote (free) . but i dont know if You are using a Receiver from Your House . If You still have the Problem where you have to get real close to the RF spot on the Wall ,You can take a small piece of black Electrical Tape & tape it over halve of the RF Spot that is closest to the Mirror , this will stop the bounce back & forth from Mirror &RF Receiver (black Spot), this was the fix as per Tiffin .there Tech just took his Boxcutter & trimmed around the Spot , then you cant see the black tape , works for me .   4. I have a 2010 Tiffin Pheaton just like Nightcrawler and have had in the past the exact same experiences . I know what Your saying that the Wipers along with other Parts should be on the Chassis battery , but they are not on a Pheaton .I also had work done on my coach at a Repair Facility ,when I picked up my coach 4 Days later ,Guess What .same Problem as Nightcrawler My house Battery's where dead , no rear Camera no Wipers no DS Operation of slide Outs ,Warning Beeps and so on . I went home and checked it all over ,Recharged House Battery's and everything worked again , thats when i found I had the Inverter on , and this in 2 Days depleted the house battery's to almost half . This is not our 1st DP and the other ones where not wired like this , but this one is . I was Auto Tech for 50 Years and made no sense to me either .I dit not build this Coach .   5. If you have florecent overhead Lights and they are on they can And will interfear with RF Signals . You might try and open the Mirrored door to stop the Reflection . Good Luck , OLD MARINE

Hi Nightcrawler , All the Things that are not working get powered by the House Battery's . make sure those batterys are charged and the 200 Amp Fuse in the House Battery compartment is Ok , Oh, make sure somebody dit not turn the Battery disconect off. also make sure when You leave Your Coach with somebody for service ,turn off Your Inverter , it will Kill Your House Battery's . Richard 5933 , go to a Shop that raises Pickup Truck Suspensions , they have Pinion Angle Shimms for Differentials .they come in all different Degrees ,thes changes also the thicknes ,the are made from Aluminium i think and also have a Diamond type off Pattern to make them slip proof .   9. sorry i dit not look at this Post since last time that i posted Night crawler , like I said before , the residential Fridge dit not come from the Factory . we upgrated to a RF and also to a 3K pure sine wave Inverter .It has a lot bigger Battery charger as well, the problem is ,the coach does NOT charge the House Batterys while traveling ,and the power needed to keep the Fridge running will deplete the House Batterys Quickly .If ,like You said the Beeping starts after 30 Minutes into Your Traves , I would suggest YOU get the House Batterys Tested , they might not be good anymore or you have A bad one that is drawing the others down . If you repl . the House Batterys and go with 105 AMP batterys ,go with 6 batterys , if YOU go with125AMP Batterys You are OK with 4 . Please dont ask how I know .   10. HI to all . I decided To go to Storage + crawl under the Coach + lock . it has a Bendix Dryer . And because Freightliner was not helpful ,i will not get my Parts from now on from them . And thats Ok for me , someone else will be verry willing to take my Money . I just can notget it as quickly as from them .But when you areas old as me , Time does not mean this much .   12. I have a 2010 Pheaton (36QSA) Freightliner Chassis w/Cummins 8.3L . I have called Freightliner and ask for the Part # , they told me "we dont give out Part #s . I ask them for a Price on a Air Dryer Cartridge . He said $ 34.89 , I Questioned the Price , and he told me we also need Your old Filter . He said is is a reconditioned Filter . Has anybody ever heard anything like this? Then after continuing the conversation , He said a new one is $202.49 + tax .What would YOU say I am wide open to any Answer , Thanks in Advance . OldMarine
  13. Hi Nightcrawler , we have a2010 Phaeton with a Residential Fridge . same Problem .2010's dit not come with this Fridge from Factory . To me this happens about 6 Hours out when driving have to start the Genny + run for about 1 -1 1/2 Hours . this stops the beebs , I dont think it was wired for this or this Electrical Load , We dit not ever had this until after we got rid of the NO COLD Fridge . I just learned to live with it . Old Marine
  14. Have You been in rainy Weather? if so, take wire connector apart + and dry out ,then apply Dielectric Grease to therminals +around Plug to keep Moister out . Good Luck Old Marine

Hi Everybody , Got my SW 3012 12V 3000W Inverter/Charger this past Friday , Installed it Saturday ,Installed new control Panel + Adapter Cables .But then got lacy + used the old Battery sensor Of course , I got a Red Light (fault) on the Panel .First I thought ,better recheck all my Wiring , well this was OK ,had to get a Bier and mulling everything over + over , Then I saw the new Battery Sensor , I almost brushed it off , But what the Heck + Plugged in the new one . Well wouldn't You know ,The red Light is off .Went true the all the Test's .A OK HURRA !!! I guess it Pays off not to do Short Cuts . Thanks Everybody for Your Input , Richard 5933 , I did not take Pictures , but made a lot off Notes + marked my wires W/Tape so as not to mix up the 2 Different Loads Donco 234 , I am not a Electrical Engineer and don't claim to be one . But after My Wives Tablet got messed up + got told at BEST BUY , that it got a Jolt by something Electrical and everything was OK before our last Trip , it must of had something to do with the Coach . On all Forums this discussion comes up at Times + always goes back to the Modified Sine Wave Inverter being the Culprit . So , Happy Wife - Happy Life .   16. Hi , just a little more on the Conversion. Got the new Inverter/Charger , had to get a new Control Panel + a Adapter , ok , no big Deal (or so I thought) I was all Gung Hoo and removed the old one (Xantrex RV2012GS), made sure I have it all written down where all the Wires go . Unpacked the New one +opened the Panel for the electrical Hookup , O BOY !!! , Completely Different . The old one has 6 Places to install 2 Loads In +out , the new one has only 4 places to install 1 Load In +out . Also there is no Place to Install the Wires For starting the Generator + to keep an Eye on it for possible Faults . Called the Factory . They told me I have to go to a 3K Model in order to be able to install 2 Loads , and I still will not be able to hook up the Generator unless I buy another Control Panel + another Wiring Harness ( $ 180.00 + $ 38.00 respectively) +maybe bigger Charging Wires + Fuse , depending on whats in the Coach right now .Well ,so much for Plug+Play . The Ventor is willing to take the Inverter back , Providing I buy the bigger Inverter .but this will be aprox. 2 weeks or so . So if any off You consider this , Watch Out .   17. Just a small update , was in Contact w/Xantrex and ordered a new Pure Sinewave Inverter/charger ,Had to get a new Panel + a Adaptor . I want to Thank everybody for there Input . Just have to wait until it gets here + install it . As per the Xantrex Tech it will be a pretty much a pluck+play Thing , and offered Tech Support , should I need it . I am looking forward to getting updated since we ruined a Tablet with the old Inverter + not wanting to loose a Computer or other Electronics .Again , many thanks , I will Keep You updated once I got it installed Old Marine
  18. I want to replace a modified Sinewave Inverter /charger with a Pure Sine wave Unit of same size , is this a plug + play , or do I have to make other Mods ? Please Help , Thanks

Just like Manholt said , check your Chassis Battery's first , then see if You forgot to turnYour Battery Switch back on right next to it in the same Compartment , all the Things You said that don't work are only working true the Power from Chassis battery .The driverside slideout's are electric , the PS Slideout's are Hydraulic , Check you'r Battery switch & Chassis Battery's First , Hope This helps , OLD MARINE
  20. Thanks for all you'r Input I sort of like what Roos Boyer did , Sorry Herman . I also loocked at other sides and seen what the called the" Fridge Fixer" ,but its made out of Plastic of some sort , this gives me a uneasy feeling . we live in the Phoenix Area and Plastic Parts just don't do very well .Ross ,I think you got me convinced , its made from Metal and cant be seen until you open the Top Doors .   22. by chance , have you replaced a light bulb in your tail lights recently and used the wrong light bulb . like putting a single contact 1156 bulb into a socket that suppose to have a 1157 bulb (2 contacts) . this could cause this problem . I cant see how the headlight switch could cause this . hope this helps Old Marine

  24. I want to thank everybody for your Input. I have watched all the conversations now for the last Year or so on the Topic of RR conversion. I already added 2 more 6 Volt Batteries (now 6- 6Volt batteries). This is in hope to give me enough power on a overnight stay, so that the generator does not start in the Auto Start Mode. The fridge is a Whirlpool 19.7 cu/ft French door, and as per data Plate draws 6 amp, but that's startup Mode .The coach is a 2010 Phaeton. I had checked several coaches at last Rally in Chandler AZ and a lots of Manufacturers used Maytag RR with a 6 amp Draw and 2000 Watt Inverter .With that in mind and this forum's overall input I hope and feel this was a good choice. Thanks again to ALL with Your responses. Will let you know how it all works out. Leaving for a trip the 1st week in June. RAY
