  1. I don't know where you would get the white film but I would definitely recommend something. Maybe a bra. There are several companies out there. You need something. Good Sam insurance rejected my claim for damage caused by newly chip-sealed roads declaring it to be "normal wear and tear"!!! I definitely don't recommend Good Sam insurance! Dean Barnes
  2. I talked with Atwood rep on the phone and he guided me thru some test steps.
  3. I have a 1999 Tradewinds and the front furnace doesn't ignite. I have determined the fault is a bad circuit board. There are after-market boards made by Dinosaur Electronics. Are they a viable option?
  4. I have used the US Gear system since 2001. I had it on my 1999 Chevy Blazer until 2009 when I transferred it to my new Saturn Vue. It has never failed me and it is easy to use.
  5. The towing limits are as Brett says. However you should review the owner's manual for the towing requirements. It specifies that you should remove a specific fuse in order to prevent running down the battery. Also, if the dealer that sold the car origionaly added an after-market alarm you may have to disable the alarm while towing. This is to prevent the horn from honking while you are towing. I discovered this the hard way. Dean Barnes
  6. Spartan said to contact the coach builder as this is a modification to the chassis. This is a Harney Renegade and it is on a Spartan chassis. It is NOT on the magnum chassis.
  7. 1999 Renegade on Spartan chassis has no air dump to lower chassis while parked. Has anyone added an air dump capability, and if so, what was required?
  8. Reading the installation manual for the Demco base plate, it appears that after the base plate is installed the plastic front-end parts (grill/fascia/bumper) are pushed forward of their original position. Does anyone have experience with the Demco installation on a 2008/2009 Vue?
