Thanks! Took out the magnetic switch and the magnet that activates it. The switch is definitely functioning and the wiring is fine. Problem must be somewhere else. Thanks again

Coach step on 2005 Dutch Star goes out fine. When we bring it in, it comes in then goes partially (about 4 inches) out 5 to 10 times then settles down closed. Any ideas?
