  1. Linda and I had quite a chuckle(I should say laugh) over your blog. We always experience similiar experiences with our homes on wheels. Now we had company over for dinner one night and Linda took this hot dish out of the convection microwave. She didn't drop it but did spill a lot of gravy all over the carpet. I knocked over a bottle of beer, had a couple of floods(left the bathroom tap open while filling up the water tank), and of course dog accidents!

Shhh-traded the motorhome and didn't tell them.

  2. This year spring and summer have flashed by. Your blog sounds like our summer has been. We covered many miles but quality of time spent actually enjoying the aspect of travel has not been there. A quick trip out west for the birth of a granddaughter, stayed there too long(2 1/2 months), and a fast return trip as the whole family made the trip back with us for the christening in Linda's church. Now we are leaving this weekend for Ottawa for a month for our second son's wedding.

Coming to the conclusion we may go full time in the spring as this past 12 months we have spent half the time in our coach!

  3. Edmonton!!! Have been here for two weeks at Whitemud RV park for the birth of our granddaughter-snow and quite cold as I am sure you know. Sound like you spent enough time on research and wish you luck with your coach. Here in Canada we call them all motorhomes but it seems(I have learned)the proper term is a coach for the Class A models.

Same engine and chassis as mine and not many miles either.

  4. Plans always seem to change. Last year Linda and I travelled to Edmonton by motorhome to visit our son and his wife-once we arrived Linda's brother called saying that their mother in Wales had taken a turn for the worse. Now we knew she was poorly as Linda had just returned from Britain from visiting her,but we had to make this trip west to see our son,of course. So Linda booked a flight from Edmonton to Cardiff,Wales immediately($10,000) and flew off. She got there in time to bid goodbye to her mother. Well worth the trip. I returned home to Ontario by myself.

  5. Great! Another blog to read. If you read my last blog it was about a bonfire night. We got along great with a couple from Florida driving a 2007 Monaco Diplomat. Actually we are planning to get together next February with that same couple to tour South Texas. The town of Harlingen actually came up. Plan on having visitors next year. This website is great to keep in touch with other motorcoach owners and their travels.

  6. Thanks for comment on my blog. Wife Linda is diabetic with complications so getting around can be difficult. We are four blocks from the beach and used the wheelchair yesterday. Today a fellow camper from NC has offered us a ride. We did not bring the car as was our first trip with new coach.
