  1. One of them would need to have a much sharper turning radius for you to ever tell the difference between them. Personally, I would not base a preference of these coaches on this factor. Marv
  2. Check out http://www.rvparkreviews.com/. There are several places inside the park to stay and a lot of places just outside of the park. Sometimes in the summer it is difficult finding places where there is electricity or water, but in the spring things should not be so crowded. Remember, even in the summer it gets cool at night in the park, so pack blankets. Good luck.
  3. I think with the leveling jacks down and the air brakes applied the chances of rolling away is slim. Use them if you want extra insurance.
  4. I am planning a trip across the Canadian Rocky Mountains and I will be traveling from Kamloops to Hope in BC. I see there is a new road, (from the last time I drove this route in 1973) Coquihalla Highway down to Hope. On the map it appears much nicer that the TCH-1. Will I miss a lot of scenery if I select route 5 over the TCH? I notice it looks much shorter also. I am 40' and with TOAD. Marv
  5. OK, I just got my invoice from Michelin and I was correct with not knowing how much I was being charged until I got the invoice. However, I saved a ton of money with the FMCA Michelin Advantage program. The tires were $299 less per tire than the price I got directly with the dealer. My tires are 315/80R/22.5. This is a great money saving program for anyone needing tires. My dealer told me I bought the tires for much less than he can buy them for. The only thing I can find fault with is Michelin charged me $21 per tire for mounting and dismounting, which is fine, then charged me another $18 per wheel for removing the wheel from the coach. I thought that was a little strange. But, I cannot complain. Great tires at a great price. Marvin
  6. The main issue I have with lube pumps is they operate on 12v electric. IF for some reason you lose power to the toad the pump quits and within a few miles your transmission is fried. I dont know if there is any indicator available that would tell you in the cockpit that power has been lost back there.
  7. Thanks. That sounds great! Lets try this out and see. I may end up getting six instead of two.
  8. Thank you for the welcome, Brett. I saw the sample price list and I wish the list were true, but I feel that it is outdated. I think tires have increased in price tremendously after the sample price list was posted last year. For instance the 315/80R 22.5 price listed is about $350 cheaper than my local dealer priced it to me without the Michelin Advantage program. That is too good to be true. Also the chart has the 315/80R about $50 less than the 295/80R. That does not appear to be correct, as, again, my local guy priced the 315 about $130 more. Thank you. Marvin
  9. The Michelin Advantage program is the reason I joined the FMCA. I am ordering my tires next week. The dealer told me I could save maybe $25 per tire. I hope it is more than that, but apparently I have no way of knowing what the price per tire will be until after I get the tires on the coach. I would like to have 6, but that is bumping $6K, so I will start out with two and check the prices. Marvin
