    ATF in oil

    Glad I wasn't there when you looked at the bottle and realised what you had done. It might have been hard on my ears. By the way welcome to the forum. I agree with the others that it would be best to change it and not run it much with the ATF in there. You should be just fine doing a regular oil and filter change. One quart in 19 isn't a major issue but does need to be addressed. Hope you had not just done a oil change. Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. I was doing that and it works on hard/flat surfaces. The problem is they will split when on grass or dirt or just uneven surface. Look on page one at the post I made showing the "upgraded" pads. These have worked well and no more split boards. Bill

  7. I had plenty of room under my Bounder to do the transmission oil change. If you want more you don't need ramps just blocks. Put 2 under the jacks and raise the coach then place boards under the tires and let the jacks back down if you want to. I fit under the coach with the bags down and jacks up so I am not to worried about geting caught if the jacks lost preshure. 6'2 240# so you have more clearance than I do. Use a plastic scraper to remove any gaskets that stick. It is important to use the plastic scraper so you don't scratch the mating surface as it will cause a leak path. The outher thing is be careful with the torque. That is a lot of torque for that size fastener in aluminum. I double checked the speck because it is so hi. You are ok because the amount of threads is much more than a regular type of installation. Use the torque numbers in the filter kit instructions, but carefully. I would do it in at least 3 steps.   10. Welcome to the forum. Like others have said just set your"Level" so it doesn't run off where you don't want it to. I often set the front just a tad higher so it runs off the back. I once was on a rare level spot and didn't have the jacks down. When I stepped on the steps it created a low point, guess where the water ran off.
  11. I don't see any evidence of a long term leak. So I would monitor it and see what you find. Can you leave it open so you get better airflow? Bill

  17. I would go up using the second route US 95 to US 2 then when you leave on state 35 south to Flathead lake. I would stay on US 93 to Elmo to Wye on I-95.   18. Ok, lets review, the black tank washer/flush is not connected to any outher part of your water system, right? Make shure the valves are turned all the way in the hot water bypass system. not just the handles as they have been known to slip on the shaftes. If that isn't it replace the check valve on the hot water heater. Let me know what you find. Bill
  19. Joe those sealants will keep someone busy trying to get them apart. There are other "better quality" sealants out there but most don't want to spend the money. Prep is the key and using the right promoter. Bill

  21. One of the problems is geting the silicone to stick to the old sealant and being shure the old sealant is not compromised causing a leak path. I have no experience with "Flex Seal". Bill
  22. Wayne, try using Diesel Kleen to improve the cetane rating of your fuel.
