Is there such a thing as a sealant call out sheet for campers?  If so where do I get one. The sealant call out sheet is specific and describes which of sealant to use in a particular area of your camper.

First things first. Welcome to the forum. What camper are we talking about?

I just finished watching the video. If I owned stock in a MH brand I might be considering an alternative investment.  That made me think perhaps FMCA did make a good decision to include towables after all.

He has 2 more installments coming out. I bet the next one will deal with quality or more accurately the lack of quality in the RV industry.

I have always felt that the towable segment was larger than the motorized section of the market.

  3. Wayne, you would realey hate loading and unloading in my situation. My coach is 35 miles out back of my back door. I don't have a driveway I can fit into by the house. So I have to load the car then drive to the coach and move everything to the coach. It is amazing how much moor comes back after a trip.😁

I am conflicted regarding Micheline tires.  I do believe that if you buy Micheline RV tires, they may have special compounds that help them last longer for RVs that sit for long periods of time.  When I was on a very tight budget, i got a set of Michelins to go almost 10 years before I replaced them, and they still did not have any cracking (i know, not really safe to go that long).

Conversely, my most recent set of tires were PrinX tires and I got a set of 6 for $1,800.00.  when i bought 6 Michlines about 3 years before, they were $3,700.00 with the FMCA discount.  With this math, you could come to the conclusion that I could replace the no-name tires twice as frequently, and still come out ahead.

    just my 2 cents.

I like the Continentals as good as or better than Micheline. I have Toyo's on this coach every ware but the tags and they are great.

Lets hope FMCA can expand and inprove the tire program.

  6. Hi Keon. Have you ever had the plug out? I am some what reluctant to recommend you just go for it. I don't know how bad the previous owner torqued it in.  I might take it to someplace like your local Cummins dealer and have him change the oil. That should solve the problem.

However if you want to I would use a good breaker bar to break it loose. I would replace it with a new plug after you get it out.

Let me know what you think.
