We also need 4 batteries. I am not sure how long we will have the coach so lifelines are out. I am looking at golf cart batteries and Monaco says we can use them. Also have a genset that will not start. Need to solve both by 11-1-2012

Okay I am new, so pardon the rookie questions. I have a 10 year old Brakemaster that I have been told is obsolete and no parts for any repairs are available. I was quoted a price from a dealer to replace for $800.00 but the replacement is also a discontinued model. At this point I have these questions: 1. Do I really need a braking system for the toad? 2. How do I test the current system I have to be sure it works 3. Is there a better system on the market today that the cost is resonable 4. What are the legal requirements in various states?
