  1. Along the line of determining corner weights for our motorhomes, can any one provide recommendations for purchase of a small portable scale that can be used at home before we leave on the trip? I have a Roadtrek Class B, and single tires on the rear axle. I am interested in a small scale (probably 14" x 14") that would accommodate a single LT 245 Series tire? I have seen reference to these, but have no idea who might manufacture such an item...so am looking for some "seasoned" thoughts on this subject.

  3. So, being new to this forum, I hope I can tag on to this line of questioning... I have a RoadTrek Class B motorhome and as such, qualify as a member of FMCA. I purchased my 2012 RoadTrek in June 2012, and promptly joined FMCA and their affiliate Chapter, RoadTrek International...but apparently do not qualify to purchase LT275R16E tires for my "motorhome" from Michelin. Might I ask why Michelin does not provide this line of tire to their offering??? These size tires are used on many of the Class B and C motorhomes (I had them on my two previous Class C motorhomes, and replaced original Michelin tires on both of these units when the tires "weather checked"!!!). Furthermore, why has FMCA not pushed for this same treatment of the ALL of its members? I realize this question has probably been raised before by a Class B or C owner, and apologize if I have not seen this in another forum, but like I said, this is my first time on the FMCA forum page, and the post from Planocat above struck home regarding only "large RV" tires...
