My Kenwood monitor has crashed and Silverleaf Electronics has told me that Sony and Pioneer make a compatible monitor. Anyone out there been through this and can give me some insight?

My Kenwood Mdl KVT-M700 has gone blank and the Kenwood service center tells me it is obsolete and can not be repaired. Because this monitors all my motorhome systems I need it working. This must have happened to many Monaco owners and I'm wondering what they have done to correct the problem, short of changing to an entirely new system such as Quicksilver
