  1. Do all SilverLeaf systems do this? I have it also.
  2. You have a valid point, "that the sudden blowout leaves a no win situation". I am trying to monitor the wear factor and slow leaks that creep up on you in both the RV and toad which I would prefer not to have turn into a failed tire. We have brand new tires on now and hope to gain many miles on them. And not to mention the fact of fuel savings is a nice way of re-cooping monies spent. I think that $820 is a small price to pay for maximizing family safety. But I don't think it to be the pressure checks scenario as it would be those times when weather for one would make that task a bit bitter.
  3. Just got my TPMS in the mail today great deal from supplier in AZ; $820.00 out the door including shipping. Setup is for RV & toad. Disregard the black item in the top left that is my wifi....
  4. Good idea, I actually used that for a leaky water connection on a RV toilet which no one had a replacement for but it never leaked again. Has anyone done the charging system swap to AGM?
  5. Thanks Rich, saves me for chasing it in the motorhome. Thanks everyone, sorry to hijack the thread.
  6. Okay, took a little while to find it in the RV but this is it; RV2012
  7. Hey Rich, I will have to get back with that info and wolfe10 not sure if the manual came with the coach when we purchased it but I will look also.
  8. Thanks, that gives me a better understanding as to purchasing guidelines.
  9. Is this procedure fairly moderate to do? Cause I really hate messing with programing electrical configurations.
  10. Is there any particular brand of battery to stay away from got quoted on some Centennials, a starter 8D and 2 DC 8D's (not AGM) installed with solar 20W charger $1300 and change.
  11. Nice, I know a guy that has the match to yours, awesome rigs.
  12. Looks great, now that is my kind of coach
  13. Okay gottca, I found a interesting read while chasing down battery dealers. Not sure if it pertains to larger RV's? Batteries101.pdf
  14. I appreciate all the reply's and appears my work is still cut out for me as to what replacement brand I should get. I guess I should stay with the setup I have (8D) just to simplify installation, but I will make sure of the deep cycle type for the house. Thanks guys and (wolfe10) I'm not sure I follow the notation of the connection error this is from the original owner setup. It looks to me like they are in parallel I'm guessing.
  15. Seems like I can't decide on replacement batteries for the chassis and the house. Every time I look up the details something new pops up and throws me a curve. Do any of you have preferences for brands and grades, I believe I want to install AGM 8D and have them installed by a supplier but picking the right ones gets tricky. What say all the great minds of FMCA family? (04 Country Coach Allure) Just say'n A= chassis; B & C= house
  16. We couldn't believe how expensive some of the road tolls were in the central and east coast states when we did our cross country trip back in June thru September. And some toll takers charge differently when passing thru and the roads still suck. This is our first time with a toad and was wondering how they charge for toaded vehicles and with a tag axle they'll probably enjoy it. Does anyone dump the tag? LOL
  17. WoW..........double post.... Riverview RV Park- Lake Ozark They were trying to launch a small boat with a 40 ft MH on the very steep, slick boat ramp. Not a good plan!

  19. My wife and I decided to go to this show in Pomona, CA to see what new accessories and what not's are out there. We chose to stay at East Shore RV Park and by far one of the best campgrounds around much much better than the KOA near by. Well any ways at the show if you were not going to buy an RV that day or any time during the show it was a total waste of time. One of the absolute worst shows ever and I mean hands down they won the dumb award. We went there just for the purpose to purchase a tow bar system, namely "Blue Ox", which was represented by the people from "Mike Thompsons" RV which we found out very late in the process of negotiations. And I was dead set on not giving that company a single cent from the poor service after buying a new Tiffin from them then selling it after our return from a cross country trip, it just beat us to death, they tell you everything you want to here. Well enough of that scenario. Getting back to the show there was very little in way of accessories or RV related items. A lot of vendors did not even show up to open their booths. I was prepared to drop some hard cash for goodies but we left with bad feelings for those who put on the show. Yes I did get my tow bar but not without a lot of hassle from Mike Thompson's, very little knowledge of those systems was evident amongst the crew. We stopped at some of the vendors that were had personnel on hand, and found ourselves arguing with the vendor as to what the inside of "our" Country Coach looks like. Most of these vendors where very arrogant. They can in No Way Shape or Form compete with the show put on by FMCA. We have no idea where the 100 vendor booths were. We will never go to another show put on by RVIA. http://www.thebestrvshow.com/
  20. Looks like I have a second choice, Thanks for the heads up.
  21. Thanks and Congrats on your Coach, google searched your Coach looks like a great choice.
  22. He hated the 2015 Tiffin Allergo Open Road, to noisy and it road like a tank and he hid in the back most of the time while driving. But with our Country Coach he enjoys walking around and finding new places to sit while traveling. The air ride made all the difference in the world for him and us. Once you own a DP, you'll never go back.
  23. I'm glad everyones okay, and glad its not mine. Story: http://krcgtv.com/news/offbeat/rv-rescued-from-osage-river
  24. Looks like: 10/9/2015 - 10/18/2015 California RV Show Pomona, CA. Hope Kathy does not have anything planned yet.
