Thanks again! I have to admit that I don't know what a steering wheel lock pin is or electronic steering! I towed a Nissan Versa prior to this truck and I had to leave the ignition in the on position so the steering would not lock and I could use the battery to power the Brake Buddy.

Thanks for the input! I just got this vehicle and I can see that even with key in the lock position the front wheels still can turn.

I have a 2009 GMC Canyon EXT Cab 4WD and I wonder why I have to disconnect the Negative battery terminal or have a switch installed? Thanks! Bill

Is anyone towing a Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon?
