Richard. $700+/- seems right to me! You get what you pay for on the cheap....

IMHO, I would go with a true one ton! Ease of hauling, better economy and less wear & tear. Also, more flexibility now and the future!

Data Showing Need For Auxiliary Braking Systems?
manholt replied to gypsyken's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Having used every brake system available over the past 40+ years, I now have the M & G system. Connect one air line to coach/toad and the brake away line. That's it....about $1,100+/- ! Makes no logical sense to me, to play "Russian Roulette", for the sake of safety and a couple of grand. You have not lived, until you have seen your own toad pass you, on the Interstate! Carl C. -
The inside is great, but only as good as the foundation it's riding on! Have you had the engine, transmission, chassis, drive axle, u-joints and generator serviced? How about the DOT number for age of all tires? Batteries...AGM or Acid? Does it have a built in Surge protection??

Cummins has a 24/7 tech help. Give them the code, I don't remember what my code was, when my Oil level sensor went bad, but it did what yours is doing! The sensor is around $35 and about 30 minutes to replace.

Recommendations on Good RV Resort near Indio CA / Palm Springs
manholt replied to whiteeagle's question in Destinations/Attractions
WhiteEagle. Would help to know what your looking for...high end resort or on the economy plan? Have been both ways, prefer the first. Let me know, I'll send you a PM. -
PLACES TO STAY NEAR SOUTHERN UTAH NATIONAL PARKS
manholt replied to kkugler's question in Destinations/Attractions
Byron. That's putting it mildly! Don't know how it is today. If it's still the same, I would think three times before doing it in a 37+! kkugler. You can catch a lot off the Utah NP's by toad from KOA just south of Grand Junction, CO. also Monticello, Utah. -
WOW. Great information! DD69 is correct...we all search for the one stop shop, that has experience and great rates!

Diesel Motorhome MPG-- Honest Answers Please
manholt replied to luckydog1949's topic in Type A motorhomes
Then there is the rotation of the Earth...kid you not...I get around .4 mpg (6.8) better between West Coast and FL., than the opposite direction (6.2)!!! Fuel now is avg., $2.75 in Texas! 6 weeks ago, it was $2.27.. -
Looks like a good, inexpensive solution. Not to get personal, but why wait till fall?

Replacing Eternabond Tape on Fiberglass Roof
manholt replied to InTheDogHouse's topic in General Discussion
Until you get it figured out. How about posting it now...Make, Model, Year and length, would go a long way, for us to help you/you to help others! -
That is the Number one reason I go to TCC in Pipe Creek, number 2 is that they are honest and charge $75-85 an hour labor! Even break it down in 15 minute intervals! We all make mistakes, they stay by them....no charge!

Which Class B's are four season models and does it matter?
manholt replied to mweiner's topic in Type B Motorhomes
Mr. Google, you think? I have lived by the thought (all my life), that if I was not 100% sure of the answer, I would try to find out and get back to the person who asked. IMHO. Half A$$'d don't help!!! Mark, at this point I really can't answer your question! Kind of like, "is there a smooth riding Class B, out there"? Carl- 5 replies

Looks to me, we have East Coast, Central so far! So, if the EC make plans for Gettysburg and Central does Coffee Creek and then we can have one at the National Rally or Winter National.

LOL, I should have guessed. Last time I was at Disney, was in CA. at a International Shriners Convention 2008. Before that was around the 1960's!

I was looking forward to it also. Brett had one at each, what's changed? 5 or 50, it's a chance and enjoyable and we don't need a room, just a area centrally located. I do agree that it would be nice to have a overnight or two mini rally, some where convenient, during the summer, but not in Texas....unless you love 90-110 heat.

Mine has a full mark that's 2" from neck!

They have a nice RV park at "South of the Border" Truck Stop. If you want one earlier, then do Carolina Crossroads RV Park, just of 95 at Roan Oaks Rapids, been there a dozen + times! I wish you a happy and safe trip and feel that you will do just fine. KOA in MB, I like it. Nice and laid back, quiet and peaceful...was there about 18 month's ago! If I can roam around West Springfield, Mass. In my coach & the Jeep = 63 feet, you should have no problems at all. Carl
