  1. I put in a Tadi brothers system with side cameras and a double rear camera, all displayed on a 7" screen. It works well, but the rear camera signal amplifiers had to be replaced for beefier ones as I got very intermittent signals with the standard amplifiers. Be careful of the order you plug in the camera's as you can blow the amplifier.
  2. My 98 had neither horn working when I got the RV. I could tell the solenoid was opening, allowing compressed air to the horns. I initially thought I would have to remove the horns, but I could hear a faint sound from one horn. Judicious probing with a long piece of wire and one side at a time crimped off to get the maximum air pressure produced a mud dobbers nest from each horn. They sound fine now! That was one of my easier repair jobs!
  3. I have a 98 Patriot Ticonderoga. Thank goodness for mechanical aptitude. Learning RV systems has been a challenge, and I used to be Chief Engineer in the merchant navy. The one item which I intermittently have problems is the Norcold fridge, which periodically does not cool properly. The coach is lovely though.
