  1. Good morning, we have a new Winnebago Forza with a Morryde step well cover that has quit working, I have done the obvious checks. Does anyone has experience with this product, I have been trying to get an installation manual, no luck yet. Thanks for any help with this issue.

  2. Good morning, New owner, I have searched all the manuals looking for the way to read the oil dipstick when doing a oil level check. The dipstick has a twist at the end and I have to assume if the oil level is over the twist the level is ok. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  3. Thanks for all the info, we returned from our trip to Michigan and I did not run the gen set at all while on the road. Yesterday I returned the Bounder to the RV shop that replaced the carb and made the aware of the issue. The carb came from the local Onan dealer and they will replace it with and new one. My concern is I ran that gen set for about 2 hours prior to realizing there was a problem with the fuel in crankcase, what are the chances this has caused other damage to the generator. Thank you, Thomas.

  4. Good morning. We just had a new control board and carb installed on our Onan 5500 a month ago, I ran the generator for an hour or so then shut it down when we arrived at Jekyll Island Campground.

When we returned home and parked the MH in the driveway for cleanup I noticed an oil leak under the MH from the generator area. I pull the cover and checked the oil in the generator and it was running out of the fill port when the cap was removed.

I drained oil from the crankcase and noticed the smell of gasoline in the oil. The MH is a 2013 Bounder 35K. and the generator has approximately 150 hrs.

    Any ideas on possible causes.

    Thank you.

    Thomas

  7. Good morning, we are making the trip back to Moab starting the end of April, we have reservations at the Portal RV Resort in Moab, we stayed there last year and had a wonderful experience.

Our trip will start from North Florida and we plan on following I-10 to San Antonio TX before we turn North. Last year we stopped in Destin, Dallas, Lubbock, Albuquerque, Sante Fe, Flagstaff, Sedona, Las Vegas, Moab, Denver and then headed back to Florida.

The weather was chilly at nights until we reached Vegas the 3rd week of May. We also learned last year it is very important to watch the weather forecast mid year to avoid thunderstorms across the the US. I hope the helps a bit, have a great day.
