Looking for Wireless Router

There's a huge difference between the types of mobile internet available. We made a document that outlines the differences here: http://bit.ly/1MuFij8 Obviously MaxxFi is my project, however the information contained in that link apply to any of the mobile devices out there and I think it will help you understand the differences between them. The only exception is the couple paragraphs at the bottom that apply only to MaxxFi. -
Cell Phone Service Providers

We use a truly unlimited 4g LTE data plan. No throttling. $80/mo. If you use larger amounts of data, say 40gb per month, it's usually always less expensive to split the purchase between 2 lines of 20gb data instead of 1 40gb line with both At&t and Verizon. You save $40/mo by splitting it that way. In any event, there's a huge difference between the types of mobile internet available. MaxxFi Mobile Broadband

DickandLois, I'll see if I can answer your questions.. It does use satellites to cover areas outside of cell range if you have the satellite package installed. The $70/mo unlimited plan is a month to month plan so you can start and stop service whenever you need to. The speed will max out around 100mbps with MaxxFi Platinum Edition on Verizon XLTE bands. Most people will average 30-40mbps in the real world with the external antenna on 4g LTE.- 4 replies

What Is The Best Way To Stay Connected Online?

I've never been denied access to any forum. Rv or otherwise. My experience is mainly with boating because I just put a deposit on my first coach. The mobile technology applies across the board. I don't know what Carleigh's experience is. I just don't think it's right for you to slam someone's opinion just because you don't like it or you don't use that technology. The whole point of this thread is to explore the options, not slam someone for naming one. This is America after all. -
MaxxFi Mobile Broadband
seangraham6 replied to charleighastone's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
MaxxFi hardware maintains multiple connections with the tower instead of a single connection like the MiFi, jetpack or your cell phone hotspot. That's how it gets higher speeds. The unlimited data plan is $70/mo.- 4 replies

What Is The Best Way To Stay Connected Online?

With everyone talking about their experiences with different providers, how can you single out one lady and say spam? Technically every post here is spam for one company or another. She's sharing her experience with her mobile internet service.
