  1. I am looking at a 2007 Monaco Executive to purchase. I am in the due diligence stage reviewing service history etc. I spent yesterday going through the interior with the wife and have a list of items, nothing that is a deal breaker. Tomorrow I will begin a more thorough check of the chassis and mechanicals. I got the serial number on the engine yesterday and will contact Cummins on Monday to see if there are any known concerns. I currently own a 2002 Alfa DP that is 37' and have done many upgrades and used the rig as a training / learning vehicle, but it is not a Monaco that is 44' with a tag axle. We are full time now and would like the extra room,,,, I think . The unit I am looking at appears to be in excellent condition both inside and out. It has very low miles which is both good and bad. It has a a 525hp Cummins ISX pre-emissions engine. I am having very little luck securing maintenance records which bothers me and makes my check out a little more difficult. If I believe the salesperson the rig was owned by a little old lady from Pasadena that only drove the rig on Sundays ha ha ha. I am looking for a technician or knowledgeable individual to go through a check out with me. Does anyone know of an individual in the Phoenix area that I can contact? Also any insight to the 2007 year Monaco's overall, suggestions and recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks Patrick 808-306-2403

  3. I can tell you that we were in Emigrant MT (15 miles N of Gardner) the 1st of June and there was still snow on the mountains and in the shade. The Yellowstone river was roaring with winter melt off. Translation, it gets **** cold, very high winds and the folks with the campground close and go to Lake Havasu AZ. We also passed through Cody 3 weeks ago as we travel to Arizona for the winter and had snow flurries for a couple of days. I spoke with residents in both locations and the answers I received can be summed up as, fall comes quickly and is short, winter is very cold and you better like snow. spring is a blessing and summer we work hard to be prepared for winter. Having said that we love Montana and Wyoming, just not in the winter.
  4. I am heading to Montana in 2 weeks and will be purchasing 4 tires for my class A. I am interested in recommendations of a good tire store for installation. As we all know, not all service centers are created equal. We will be staying near Livingston so close would be good but not a requirement. Has anyone used Quality Tire Company in Belgrade Montana ? http://qualitytirecompany.com/ Thanks
