  1. Yep, very disappointed in the AT&T Moxie hotspot. I got two years use of the Sprint M800 hotspot and didn’t realize how great it was until now. I think the FMCA AT&T plan is soon going the be history for me. I will go to the Visible (Verizon) with party pay for $25.00 month, I have seen better results with it using the SIM in an old iPhone. I see where AT&T may offer FMCA more speed for an additional cost.
  2. Yes, the following was copied from my 2018 Equinox owners manual. "For vehicles being dinghy towed, the vehicle should be run at the beginning of each day and at each RV fuel stop for about five minutes. This will ensure proper lubrication of transmission components."
  3. Thanks, Dan. Steve Garrett with Verizon called and assured me that the pro rated amount charged for the Jetpack Access Fee for June would be credited and it was. He confirmed that my account is now set up correctly and I should not see the access fee on my bill. Great service from FMCA and Verizon. Thanks to all.
  4. The sign up for the FMCA Verizon plan went fairly smooth. I was able to go to my local Verizon store and pick up my Jetpack that day. It was activated and I called Verizon to make sure I was on the FMCA plan and would only be charged the $.01. Since my current Verizon plan was mid month into my billing cycle and the new month would not be until June 2 I was told I would incur data charges on top of the $49.99 if I used the Jetpack before June 2. So I just didn't use it as I had enough data left on my smart phones. Got my bill June 2 and my Jetpack was charged at the FMCA plan rate of $49.99 BUT I was also charged $10.00 per month for "Jetpack Line Access". Nothing that I read said there would be a line access charge for the Jetpack, only surcharges (regulatory and administrative) and taxes. Now this thing that is NOT unlimited is costing me $59.99 per month instead of $49.99. I have had an 8 GB family plan and hardly ever went over 8 GB. Used my Jetpack the past 4 days not streaming at all just surfing the internet and already used over 4 GB, how can that be? Do the Jetpacks consume more data that hot spotting an iPad on my smartphone? Is this correct that I should be charged a $10.00 Jetpack line access charge? I think I have made a big mistake going with this FMCA Verizon deal. I am thinking very seriously that I will return the Jetpack and incur the $175.00 early termination fee and be done with it. Since the new family plans have just come out I think I will be better off going to one of the new plans since I really don't use that much data anyway.
