  2. Timetraveler, I am doing research on my wife's father's time in the Army durring WWII. Some of his records were singed in the building fire. Some may have been lost. I have some, and was told to look through the daily reports to recreate information on his awarded metals. This is on microfiche. It is available, but you would have to do the research for yourself. The National Archives is located 1 Archives Dr St Louis, MO 63138-1002 www.archives.gov Hope this helps.
  3. I have heard that some VFW posts and American Legion halls have hook-ups at their locations for members. I have contacted the national headquarters for both, but they don't have a list on who has them. Has anyone stayed in these sites?
  4. We went there in Sept 2010, had great weather then. Did the Monument, Crazy Horse, Sturgis, Geographical Center of US, Needles Hwy (encourage you to do,only in the jeep), Deadwood, Badlands, and Wall Drug. On the way there, stop in Mitchell, SD for the Corn Palace.
