  1. Thanks Bill. Tried both switches to no avail. Using the switch on the Generac I cannot hear the fuel pump running. When depressing the switch it just very faintly clicks for about 15 seconds and then shuts off. Really sounds and acts like a dead battery but all batteries are operating fine. Checked fuse on the generator as well.
  2. I have a 99 Monaco LaPalma... the generator will not start. When I push the start button it acts as if the battery is dead, nothing turns over. House batteries are brand new and the chassis battery easily turns over the coach motor. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
  3. Thank you Herman, much appreciated... it gives me a starting location.
  4. I own a 1999 Monaco LaPalma (34S). After getting out of winter storage I am having an issue with the Power Gear Leveler Alarm light staying on after the levelers are retracted. I have been reading posts that one possibility is a low level in the hydraulic reservoir. After checking all my manuals I have found what type of oil to use, schematics for wiring and or hoses, etc. Everything but the location of the hydraulic reservoir itself....can anyone help me out there. I am also assuming the level should be checked with the levelers retracted ?
  5. My thanks to all for your advice - at least now I know where to begin.
  6. Also note: coach only has 14,000 miles on it (1,500 of which we have put on). I realize the coach is old but would bearings or u-joints be shot?
  7. Reaching out to those in the know... I have a 1999 Monaco LaPalma (just purchased last year) and it has a front end shimmy that you feel through the steering wheel. It seems to be related to engine RPM. What I mean by that is that the shimmy intensifies as the RPM increases as in down-shifting. While underway if I take my foot off of the gas the shimmy disappears. I'm not quite sure what to check for; I have heard that it could be front-end related, driveshaft related, or something all-together different. Needing advice as we are new to this. We recently had new tires installed all the way around so I am not thinking it has anything to do with rotating tires. The shimmy was there with the old tires. Ford F53 Chasis
