  1. Yes, they were when I put it in storage and disconnected the batteries via inside disconnect buttons.
  2. Chassis battery on a 2004 Fleetwood Bounder, workhorse engine, was disconnected from inside RV when I put it in storage. When I last checked, I couldn't get the steps to open. I made sure step switch was on but the light on the switch was not on. I started the engine and the steps still would not come out. I then noticed that none of the holding tank level systems were registering and only the house battery was registering its power. The chassis battery was not registering. I checked fuses which appeared okay. It’s weird that the engine starts right up but none of the panel buttons are working on the dashboard. When I tried to connect the chassis with the inside switch it did not make the clicking noise that it usually does and I also turned on house battery which worked fine. Any ideas why this may not be working. It worked fine before putting it in storage. All I did was disconnect both the house and chassis batteries at the inside switch over tbe door.
  3. I have a 2004 Fleetwood Bounder with a Chevy Workhorse Engine. I had my oil changed on May 6, 2020 at 55986 miles. Recently my "Change Engine oil" message came on. When I got home, I checked the oil and the level is full and oil looked good on the dip stick. I reset the message so it would go away and on my next trip the message was back again. Could there be something else going on that should be checked?
  4. I had turned off my air conditioner after running it most of the day, however the compressor would not stop running. We turned the main circuit breaker off cutting the power. We left it off for 5 minutes. After turning the main circuit breaker back on the compressor started running however it eventually turned off. Now it is recycling about every 10 minutes and running for about 2 minutes before shutting off. Any ideas what would cause this and how to fix it?
  5. Thank you obedb and wildebill for all your insight. I greatly appreciate it. At this time my route from wyoming will be 191N to Holback Jnct, W26 to Swan Valley, and then 31 to Victor. Coming back down if I don't like that route, I'll try 89 and 30. Happy & safe travels to all.
  6. Thanks everyone for the input. I'm going to Victor ID for a family wedding, initially staying at Teton Valley RV Park and then to wedding venue at Moose Creek Lodge and RV Park. Another route that came up on my GPS, was i80, exit 66, to route 30w and then 89. Any experience or words of wisdom on this Path? My rig is 36' plus flat towing a Honda fit. Again I appreciate the feedback. First time out west, and I just finished a trip through West Virginia and North Carolina. Went up and down a few mountains but not like the elevation I'm expecting out west.
  7. IN SEPTEMBER, TRAVELING FROM BUFFALO NY TO VICTOR ID. TRAVELING INTERSTATE 80. TRAVELING ABOUT 350 MILES A DAY IN 36' BOUNDER WITH HONDA FIT TOWED BEHIND. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO GET UP TO VICTOR WITHOUT TRAVELING THROUGH THE TETONS. I'M THINKING I NEED TO GO SALT LAKE CITY, UT AND THEN UP THROUGH IDAHO FALLS. ANY ONE TRAVELED THIS WAY AND HAVE SUGGESTIONS FOR PLACES TO STOP OVER NIGHT AND ROUTE?
