    Found the problem. ATS was under foot of bed. One of the connections was melted. Did temporay fix until getting a new ATS. Everything closed today. Thank you.  Will get a metal box in place of this plastic one. Will be more concerned with checking the tightness of the connections from now on. Learning experience. 


  2. I' having the same problem. Nothing on shore power works bit everything on generator works. In central Florida with a dog and very hot also. Have a 2017 jayco alante and don' know where transfer switch is. Must be under bed for i looked everywhere else. Owners manual is of zero help. No breakers and no fuses are blown or kicked.

  4. Thinking of purchasing a Jeep Rubicon as a tow. Was planing on flat tow but plan on doing some trail riding in the mountains and hopefully desert.

    Worried that one bad rock, log, rut or bog could damage the blue ox equipment on the jeep. Would it he better to dolly tow the jeep if possible?

     Have Jayco Alante, 5000 pull limit and don't have capability to 4 off tow. Thanks!

Best choice would be to be able to remove the cover from the evaporator cover inside your RV and push down on the drain with the probe. Easily done with a big truck. If you are lucky, you can find a way to push the obstruction out on your RV. Most don't have a filter so the mess is common. Unplug the drain with your ingenuity, then your foot will not be wet.

    Simplest answer may be that the condensate drain is plugged.  Locate it under the coach and suck on it-- you may need to use another piece of hose as an extension.  Do not blow, as that would just but any restriction back into the A/C to "re-clog" next time you use it.

    Yes, a cracked case could also cause it, as could low freon which would cause colder temperatures and condensation on the hose to the evaporator.

    But, start with the simple, free one.

    Cracked case? Where and what? Thanks. Have new 2017 with 3800 miles. Thanks. 


  7. Was wanting to haul my Harley Davidson that weights 720 lbs and also a 3000 lbs car. The trailer is 740 lbs. Under my 5000 towing limit. The trailer manufacturer recommends a class 4 hitch. Jayco says my class 3 hitch is the largest hitch that should be on the RV.  

    Also wanted to use a motorcycle lift and then flat tow the car, but again,  would need a heavier hitch and the the total weight of bike and lift, 1000 lbs would be weight on the RV. Ready to give up on having my bike and car and choosing one or the other.

    Don't really want to have the tandem trailer to deal with.  Big decision  because a fulltimer. Thanks for any advise.
