I'm with you John. The MedAssist is one of the main reasons we joined FMCA. I have recruited several new members just because of this benefit. It's a huge mistake to drop it and I'm very disappointed in the decision. I also doubt that we will renew our membership when it comes due. Good Sam has a Med Assist program and I don't need membership in 2 organizations.

I don't understand the problem. All you have to do is follow the instructions and the system. We plan our travel fuel stops at Flying J and now Pilot. Since our MH is 40' I especially appreciate the seperate RV islands. The system is simple; take your card inside, give them a dollar estimate and pump. When finished, sign the ticket with your discount and pick up your card. Drive away. No big deal. My only complaint is having to stand in line twice.

We have stayed at a few Elks lodges but not in those states. You must be a member and most ask for a small donation. Check the Elks website for the lodges in the area you are going and see what type of facilities they have. Some don't have room for a motorhome or 5th wheel and most don't have hook-ups so it's dry camping.
