Has anyone been to the campground at Maumee Bay State Park Ohio? My wife and I have decided to take a long weekend and go camping. We do not have a tow behind our 32 ft class "A" motorhome. How good are the hiking and biking trails? We are not interested in shopping or a casino, just walking and visit nature. Thanks for your suggestions. Sign me.....tired of winter already! Steve PS. Yes, I just asked about Christmas yesterday. I trying to plan my year. I want to camp everywhere and with all the tip I'm getting I just might.

Thanks Gary, We have not looked into cost of site yet. If we find something we like we may be able to adjust the money. This will be our Christmas gift to each other. Central Florida sounds like where we want to stay. No, we are not party people, we stay to ourselves. We are hoping to find something on the Gulf or Atlantic with a beach. Shopping, casinos, and bars do not interest us. The beach, trails, hiking, biking, and watching natures are what we like. The wife and I can finally spend two weeks around Christmas on the Gulf or Atlantic coast of Central Florida. The kids are gone. We have never spent Christmas in Florida. Does anyone have a suggestion? We have stayed at Topsail Hill State Park and are looking for something like that. Full service with sewer is important. We do not have a tow, but sometimes rent a car.
