No power after aired upI have an ongoing problem and it only happens on the first start of the day. I have an 05 330 Inspire Country Coach. We start the engine, then pull up jacks, let it warm up until the air is at 120psi and I hear it pop off. I put it in drive and it will hardly move, almost as if I am in neutral. The pressure is still up to 120psi. In order to move I have to put it in neutral, rev up the engine a few times and then put it in drive again. Sometimes it starts to move at a very slow pace, I have to put it back into neutral rev it up again, put it back in drive and then it will usually go. This happens even if I let the Motorhome warm up initially for 5-10 minutes before driving. The rest of the day I can stop and start with no issues. I have taken it in to be looked at and of course they can’t duplicate the problem. What can be causing this? Some type of bad safety switch, transmission....?
We have a 2005 Country Coach Intrigue 530. Our back two slides will not extend. The yellow light shows that it is fine to extend but nothing happens when we push the switch. We can hear the motor when we hit the retract switch though. Any ideas how to troubleshoot or who would work on this? The front two slides work fine. We are currently at the FMCA Rally in Chandler, Arizona . Thank you Mike and Amber Grubb
Trading A Country Coach For A Cornerstone
FRANK@BUDDFALEN.COM posted a topic in Type A motorhomesI have a 07 Country Coach Magna 630. It is a very good Coach. It is well made, drives great and I can operate it in any weather. I hear a lot of good things about the Cornerstone. I would like to hear from anyone who has gone from a Country Coach to a Cornerstone regarding the pros and cons of that move.
Picking Up A Coach In Phoenix
wa4vif posted a topic in General DiscussionHello all. I plan to pick up a new-to-me Country Coach in Phoenix in the next ten days or so and drive it back to Alabama. I've never been in the southwest and I'm wondering if anyone has advice on travel routes, places to stop overnight, things to see on brief stopovers without a toad. I'll be traveling alone and may detour through Clovis, NM to see my nephew. I think I40 is the preferred route and I'll have GPS but additional info is always welcome. Thanks in advance. John
Country Coach And Remote Technologies
Dubric posted a topic in ElectricalCan anybody direct me to an existing forum or assist me in understanding Country Coaches relationship with Remote Technologies or RTI? I have recently purchased a 2007 Country Coach Affinity 700, second owner, and have boxes labeled RTI but no controller or information. The dealer that sold me the coach said they were more problem than good and "everyone" throws them away. Any knowledgeable sources out there?
michelewhoelse posted a topic in General DiscussionI own a 2008 Country Coach Magna 630 and I took it to Country Coach in Oregon to have some maintenance and repairs done. We took the bus to Oregon in early 2012 and dropped it off. During the time the bus was there I encountered some financial difficulties, but continued to pay for all work that was requested. All repairs were paid in full, in excess of $30,000.00. Once everything was paid in full, I contracted to have the bus driven back to me, in Colorado. When the bus was delivered, repairs that I paid for were not done. The bus was delivered with the wipers and the cruise control not working. There was interior repairs to be done on the interior columns on the slide outs that was not done. The control for the "newly repaired" passenger seat was not done. They was a broken tile on the bathroom floor. The estimate to replace it was in excess of $5000.00, so it was requested to just "fix" the broken tile. How could one tile cost that much money. They were supposed to replace some miscoloered grout and they din't. They were supposed to check the seal on the drivers side front wheel because it was leaking. Instead they "cleaned" it, per the invoice that I paid. I had to take it to a local garage for the repairs. They discovered that the seal was leaking, and upon diassasembly they dicoverd the wheel bearings had failed. The garage doing those repairs put in numerous calls to CC to ask mechanical/technical questions. No calls were returned. When I took the bus to CC I had a car hauler with a car so I could drive back to Colorado. The car hauler was left in OR because CC "forgot it was there". But by there own admission they moved the car hauler around to make room for other busses in for repairs, and yet they refuse to pay to have it returned. Caulking around the exterior seams on the slide outs was not done when it was requested. The expansions seams on the exterior were redone but in a very sloppy fashion. The original caulking on the roof was faulty and when in OR dropping the bus off, the interior speakers started to leak from all the rain. That was to be repaired, and until the bus is out in the rain, I won't know if that was done either. There was water damage from the leaks, and the bus was returned with bubbles under the wall paper. Obviously some if not all speakers need to be replaced. They weren't. Hopefully the whole bus won't delaminate from the water damage that should have nevr
Advice On Next Motorhome
bmcfaror posted a topic in Buying an RVCurrently own a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor (38'/2 slide/330 Cummins/8 bag Roadmaster). Looking for advice from all of your on our next coach. We are primarily 3-4 day weekend RV'ers as we both work, with typically a couple of two week trips each year. We are out at least 2-3 weekends a month in the coach and live in Oregon so would like to be able to use the coach year-round. Happy with our coach but would like (1) smoother ride and better handling, (2) more room with extra slides, (3) aqua hot or system that would give us more flexibility in the winter, (4) layout with 2 euro chairs & flatscreens. Here are the type of coaches we are looking at (primarily to get better insulation and Spartan chassis): Newmar Ventana/Dutch Star, Country Coach. Would LOVE an Entegra Aspire, but that will have to wait a few years as our price range needs to be under 200k. I would love to your advice on what coaches you think we should explore further...or are we already on the right track? I would also like your advice on aqua hot or not for winter camping (winter here means no lower than 25 in the winter) and LP versus diesel fired Aqua Hot? Thanks in advance.....love to hear from the experts on this board!
