Warning for anyone, wanting to go North or South on Hwy. 285 between Pecos, TX and Carlsbad, NM.  Don't.  The road is horrible, lot's of Oil Field traffic, construction and one lane!  18+ wheelers come out off side roads, with total disregard to traffic, very dangerous condition!!!  My lady and I were on it south bound 2 days ago...:blink::wacko:
