Las Vegas RV park In January

Recommended Posts

Need to be in LV for granddaughter's gymnastics competition so looking for recommendation for a nice RV park that won't break the bank.

The ones I have seen on the internet seem to be parking lots around casino's.

Are there better options?

We use the Thousand Trails on Boulder highway.  You are right most just are parking lots with hookups. Oasis is more of a resort but pricey.

I used PassPort America at Oasis. Yes Oasis is a little more but worth it. I stayed at Thousand Trails and I won't go back it took 3 spots before we found one that had power at the pedestal.

Thousand Trails has needed some repair from time to time.  They have rewired some of the park and it isn't too bad now. I usually spend about a total of 6 weeks there a year when I go to trade shows.  It works for me because my only expense is the annual fee of $585/year which I use the parks around the country about 100 to 150 nights a year.

Bill, what did you think of it? Looking for 2019, top shelf resort, clean. I mean resort, could care less about bath houses, never been in one in 10 years, no plans to start now!

I can tell you one thing, forget about Nevada Treasure. It has gone right down hill in a big way. Was there this winter. Wifi is crap, trees need trimmed, not big rig friendly, no mtce dept to speak of. Half the machines in the gym are broke. Worse thing about this park is it has a bar  on site and which is attractin a lot of permanents that don't have to worry about getting a DUI. They can trash their site, let their dogs crap everywhere without picking it up and they can go get drunk and stumble home. If you want to talk to the manager, you'll have to go in the bar, that's where he is most of the time.

Oasis used to be a Coast to Coast and was my home park.  I used to stay there quite often but since they dropped CtoC I moved on to Thousand Trails.
